"The artist, however faithful to [their] personal vision of reality, becomes the last champion of the individual mind and sensibility against an intrusive society and an officious state."

IV,  Concrete, Scrap Metal & Broken Glass

Faced with the image of a Palestinian man crushed to death by an Israeli bulldozer—the gore having been transformed into the imagery of spilled red flowers by artificial intelligence in order to bypass censorship on social media platforms—I found myself driven to create an installation that would invade an otherwise isolated gallery space with the undeniable weight of complicity in genocide. Utilizing organic matter in the instalation necessitates its decomposition over time, and the IV bag being full of nothing but those flowers results in an indistinguishable resembelance to real viscera.
